We think results speak louder than words and just a few examples of our results in construction accident death cases, include:

In 2003, we settled a case for $888,888 where Plaintiff was working on a construction project standing on a scaffold that tipped over. Plaintiff alleged that the contractor was not licensed and therefore the owner of the premises was liable. Plaintiff also alleged the scaffolding was defective. $1,050,000

In 2006, we settled a case for $1,050,000 (Defendant’s policy limits) where Plaintiff was working on a construction project and fell through an unguarded opening on the roof.

In 2012, our firm handled a case where a steel inspector fell from a beam. The inspector lost his memory and did not remember what happened. We alleged that the general contractor and sub-contractor were responsible for providing the steel inspector with safe access to perform his inspections.

Defendants moved for summary judgment arguing that they were not liable to Plaintiff under the Privette Doctrine and because Plaintiff was solely responsible for safely performing his job. Arash successfully defeated Defendants’ motion through effective depositions and creative legal arguments. The case then settled confidentially. You can read the Court’s ruling here.
