Arash Homampour On Hiring Attorneys

Trial lawyer Arash Homampour talks about what he looks for when hiring Associate Attorneys.

Transcript:

As a small law firm, it is critical you hire people that love what they do. And so we have been fortunate, we, it’s not like we’re hiring Stanford law graduates or even UCLA college graduates. You know I never look at where did someone come from or what was their prior employment history as an indicator of who they are. There’s a vibe I get from human beings and you can tell if they care about what they do, if they, you know, really love what they do, and they are open minded, have a brain, have a good work ethic. It really doesn’t matter where they came from, it’s who they are today. And so we’ve been very fortunate that in, in hiring we are always hiring individuals who are passionate about what they do, who care about their work product and who take the time to make a difference in their own way, whether it’s a file clerk, a paralegal or legal secretary, you know, it’s as critical to get good human beings working for you that care about what they do.
