The coronavirus pandemic. It has harmed many and has also upended the way we live life. But, with darkness there will always be light.
As Plaintiff attorneys, we fight for justice in and outside of the courtroom. We are professionals unified by that singular goal. We help clients, each other and society as a whole. There have been and will be hard times ahead. But, our passion, perseverance and fellowship will continue to make a difference.
I, like many of you, have used these last few weeks to watch webinars by other lawyers to learn new and different approaches to trials.
I have been working with trial consultants Harry and Claire Plotkin for years. They have made a difference in many of my trials through facilitating focus groups, jury selection and otherwise developing trial strategies.

As lawyers, we are considered pioneers in the use of technology inside and outside the courtroom. Many of our staff and lawyers already worked remotely. So given our firm’s investments in technology and cutting edge practices, we already had and have the capabilities to conduct video depositions, mediations and meet with staff and clients virtually.
