Trial Lawyer Arash Homampour talks about the work that goes into large cases and the resulting relationships that are built with co-counsel.

Asking me what the biggest case I’ve handled it like it’s like asking me which of my children are my favorite. We’ve had, we’ve handled so many different, interesting, difficult, but lovely cases that it’s impossible for me to say. I mean, I literally could talk about each case as if they were my child, you know, watching them grow, the end result, being so proud of what we accomplished, how they’ve made an impact on the world. Literally, there’s a direct analogy between your children and your cases. Because, we give, you know, we give our cases our everything, we give up weekends, we sweat, we cry, we dream, we have fears, we, you know, every human emotion goes into handling these cases. And it’s interesting because I’ll work on cases with joint ventures and I’ll develop these like relationships with my co-counsel and love affairs where we’re literally like hanging out right before the verdicts read and say to each other, you know, right, we’re gonna miss each other, we spent the last two weeks talking about life and eating and just dreaming and hoping and you know sharing life struggles and the beauty of life, that when a case ends it’s just a tragic end to what, what is a beautiful relationship. But I have time and time again, you know, we developed just beautiful relationships with people in these cases including our clients and it’s, you know, it’s a lovely thing.
